Our second favorite place to eat while visiting Disneyland is Flo’s Cafe! I can’t say enough about this place…we love it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! This quick-service dining location is a flashback to the 50’s cafe complete with great music from the era! When we are in our car listening to Sirius Sixties on 6, my son always says…Mom, I feel like we are in Flo’s Cafe…and then he starts to sing! These are the memories that Disney provides for a lifetime!
On the early admission days to California Adventure our first stop is always Flo’s for breakfast. My son loves waffles, while my daughter enjoyed the American breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The best plate by FAR for breakfast is the Brioche French Toast with the absolutely delicious caramel sauce and bananas. My husband and I also like to order one of the kids seasonal fruit plates to share along with the french toast. Check out the complete breakfast menu. Since we are so close to the Radiator Springs Racers, we hurry over for a ride before the park gets busy!
It is always amazing that even if we had breakfast at Flo’s we often drift back there for lunch and then even again for dinner. For lunch or dinner my kids go straight for the kid’s turkey sandwich with the fruit bowl and veggies. The turkey meat is so juicy and tender! For me, I am also a turkey sandwich fan. The adult sandwich comes with some delicious gravy for dipping! I also LOVE the pasta salad that is included with the meal. My husband enjoys the Citrus Turkey Salad, with the dried cranberries and citrus-tarragon dressing. I have also had the roasted chicken and found that to also be delectable. We often top off our dinner with Flo’s absolutely fabulous milkshakes. The are truly a taste bud treat especially the vanilla with the “gravel road” topping AKA oreo cookies! This is a great place to enjoy at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is lots of fun and the food is fabulous! Stop by Flo’s V8 Cafe to fill up your tank!
